After all that time, I have decided to part with most of my collection to finance my shamefully early retirement. I will be hanging onto only a VERY small percentage of what I own--which means that there are LOTS of great things for sale here! All of these are books that I personally selected for my own collection. They have been well kept in non-smoking, no-pets, climate-controlled conditions for as long as I've owned them. (That means no stifling storage units, no bug-infested garages and no humid basements). __________________________________________________________________________The vast majority of these books have stayed in like-new VF/NM condition since the day I bought them new, slipped them into bags, and put them in boxes. Some (but not many) listings here will include lengthy descriptions of condition. I can't possibly go through every one of these comics to individually grade each one for this incredibly long list. (Well, I could, but that would cut a little too heavily into my staring-blankly-at-the-wall time.) HOWEVER: When I list comics on eBay, be assured that each will include information about condition! Most of these comics have NOT been professionally graded, because CGC is so incredibly expensive. Also, I do not have a retail store. This is the better copy of the two I have, if only because the spine and staples are better aligned on this one, and because the other copy has some blotchy printing-press ink on a few panels. There are some "impressions" on the cover (and also on the back cover) that keep them from being perfectly smooth and flat. Nice interior, though. SECOND COPY: VG- condition. Mike Kaluta cover, Denny O'Neil story, Irv Novick and Dick Giordano art. Guest starring The Shadow. Condition is slightly inferior to my other copy (VG). The spine "alignment" is different. The spine is not rolled; this is a case of the staples being visible from the front, as opposed to being exactly on the creased edge. As with my other copy, there are some "impressions" on the cover (and also on the back cover) that keep them from being perfectly smooth and flat. Inside, this has a strange flaw on some pages: blotchy inking, as if too much ink was on the plates.
